Reality star Lauren Conrad ditched the small screen for a more simple life out of the limelight. While the perks of being on two popular MTV teen drama ****** 'Laguna Beach' and 'The Hills,' still work in her favor today, Conrad says she's more happy being "basic." The cover girl for Cosmopolitan's October issue spilled the beans on how her life has been positively affected by being on TV and why living a more unadorned lifestyle is more speed.
