وتعود أسباب الإقبال الشديد على برنامج خادم الحرمين الشريفين للابتعاث الخارجي لهذا العام إلى الآلية الجديدة التي طورتها وزارة (http://forums.flll2.com/redirector.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.education-ksa.com%2Ft117208%2F) التعليم (http://forums.flll2.com/redirector.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.education-ksa.com%2Ft117208%2F) في أسلوب تنفيذ البرنامج ليشتمل قيمة مضافة تتمثل في ربط الابتعاث بضمان وظيفي للمبتعث بعد تخرجه، حيث عقدت شراكات مع 14 وزارة (http://forums.flll2.com/redirector.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.education-ksa.com%2Ft117208%2F) ومؤسسة حكومية لديها فرص وظيفية محددة أسفرت عن 43600 فرصة ابتعاث في 479 تخصصا نوعيا في جميع المراحل بما في ذلك الدبلوم والبكالوريوس والماجستير والدكتوراه والزمالة.
