You remember the fun San Francisco (http://www.themarysue.com/batkid/) (and everyone else) had with Batkid, right? Well, the Bay area town of Vallejo recently celebrated a**ther young individual by turning them into a superhero for a day. Everyone, say hello to Monika Romo, a.k.a. Wonder Girl
The city of Vallejo in Sola** County, Calif. may **t have organized a city-wide villain hunt, but it certainly made one 10-year-old’s day. Romo was diag**sed with leukemia in April, and while she’s still undergoing chemotherapy, her mom says she’s currently in remission. **nprofit group Vallejo Together (https://www.facebook.com/vallejotogether) wanted to do something special for a child dealing with the disease, and with help from Supporting Our Cancer Kids (http://www.sockcancer.org/) and the rest of the city, it was able to put together a big surprise for Romo.
