On Thursday, a town hall meeting hosted by Al Sharpton and the National Action Network to address gun violence exploded into a revolt against “Chicago Machine” politics, Mayor Rahm Emanuel, and the aldermen in City Hall, with panel and audience members calling to vote out their elected officials.
Toss out the poverty pimps? **w there's a unique idea.
Let me add a**ther one: Arm all the law-abiding citizens -- openly or concealed, as the Constitution provides.
The jackasses already have guns and could care less what the law says. Getting rid of the blatantly unconstitutional and functionally racist gun laws in Chicago would put the gang-bangers on **tice that there are ** more unarmed targets for them to shoot at.
Very few, even among the pimp-and-banger groups, are interested in stepping into a bidirectional shooting gallery.
