The public perception of DJs may be of pampered individuals who are paid to fly around the world and party as a glorified iTunes playlist. Beyond the sleep deprivation, flight delays and time spent producing records required to be a touring DJ (if they do it themselves), things can actually get very dangerous. One Indian DJ, Arun Valmiki found this out while working a private party at the residence of a local businessman in the torn of Bareilly in the Uttar Pradesh state, in **rthern India. One guest requested a song titled "Tamanche De Disco," which translates from Hindo as "dancing with an illegal firearm." After Valmiki denied the request, the guest was so enraged that he pulled out a revolver he brought to the revolver and shot the DJ.
