Rwandan spy chief arrested in London

The Met Police's extradition unit arrested Gen Karake at Heathrow Airport on Saturday, it is understood. The 54-year-old was remanded in custody until Thursday after appearing before Westminster Magistrates' Court. He is accused of ordering massacres while head of military intelligence in the wake of the 1994 Rwanda ge**cide.
