This week, Target confirmed (http://mashable.com/2013/12/19/target-data-breach/?utm_campaign=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_cid=Mash-Prod-RSS-Feedburner-All-Partial&utm_medium=feed&utm_source=rss) that ******s may have stolen millions of customers' credit and debit card information in a security breach. But the retailer is offering a consolation prize: 10% off if the customers return to shop again this weekend.

Target's CEO issued a formal apology to customers late Friday and tried to smooth things over by an**uncing the extended discount in stores for customers who come back and shop this weekend.
