The*Rangers*have agreed to a mi**r league deal with Kensuke Tanaka (http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/t/tanakke01.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&utm_source=direct&utm_medium=linker-www.typepad.com), according to a report from Sponichi (Japanese link (http://t.co/mALBYwymvI)) passed along by Patrick Newman of NPB Tracker (via Twitter (https://twitter.com/npbtracker/status/413472444909752320)). *The Giants released the second baseman/left fielder back in September after designating him for assignment. *The 32-year-old*saw limited time with the Giants this season but excelled in 400 plate appearances at Triple-A Fres**, batting .329/.400/.397 with three homers and 22 steals.
