University denies student was held captive by dean

**rthern Borders University denied on Monday claims that one of its students was held captive by a dean after an audio recording of the alleged incident was circulated on social media. The clip apparently features the student being held by the dean of admissions and enrollment just because he asked to be given his graduation certificate. The student, Saad Al-Anzi, told Al-Hayat on Wednesday that he went to the dean's ****** asking to be given his certificate but the man locked the door, kept him captive and accused him of many security violations.
