CARESTREAM Touch Prime Ultrasounds **w Available in U.S. (VIDEO)

Carestream Health is making its*CARESTREAM Touch Prime and CARESTREAM Touch Prime XE ultrasound systems available in the U.S., having received FDA 510(k) clearance. The devices are intended for general diag**stic use, with the XE model featuring advanced imaging tech**logies that improve the visualization of moving tissues and organs. All these capabilities are due to the high spatial detail and frame rates above 100Hz that the system is able to process.
Both systems have an all-touch control panel that is completely sealed for easy cleaning. The look-alike units were made to be light and compact for easy transportation within busy clinical environments, with ergo**mic settings allowing clinicians to position them for comfortable operation. The ultrasounds have swipe badge logon functionality for quick access by so**graphers and a boot time of only 18 seconds that makes standby modes and battery backup unnecessary.
