http://cdn.medgadget.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/chart.pnghttp://cdn.medgadget.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/InvisionHeart.pngInvisionHeart, a company that came out of*Vanderbilt University, landed FDA clearance for its*InvisionECG system. The mobile 12-lead system was designed to take clinical ECG out of the hospital environment, making it practical for use in outpatient clinics, long-term care facilities, and other places currently without a cardiologist on hand.
The system does **t require the same person who is taking the exam to interpret the chart. Rather, the data is uploaded online and can be reviewed by a remote cardiologist via an online browser. There is ** paper to be crumpled or lost, **r printer ink to deal with. The ECG charts stay online and are never lost, and can be shared easily at any time with just about any clinicians with online access.
The company plans on releasing the system for sale in the third quarter of this*year
