Imdaad wins award for sustainability initiatives

The FM and waste management company was praised for its efforts in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and its carbon footprint. In particular however, Imdaad received top marks within its waste collection division with its fleet run entirely on bio-fuel. Jamal Abdullah Lootah, CEO, Imdaad, shared: “Imdaad has a dedicated team of trained professionals for implementing Green Building FM services along with highly specialised equipment for waste collection and sorting of recyclables.” He added: “Moreover, we continue to develop and launch awareness programmes to educate the local community about sustainable FM and waste management solutions that can lead to a greener, healthier environment for the present and future generations.” As organisers of the EGBC Awards, the Emirates Green Building Council is an independent forum that tackles issue of environment conservation and the promotion of green building practices. “Receiving the EGBC Awards is an ho**ur as it recognises our outstanding contribution to the green building sector and will be a motivation for us to continue launching in**vative solutions that protect and preserve our environment,” comments Lootah.
