The 54-year-old Academy Award-winning actor is currently promoting his new Disney sci-fi picture Tomorrowland, which also stars Britt Robertson. There are a string of post-apocalyptic ****** like Mad Max: Fury Road and San Andreas reaching the box ****** this summer and George is happy his feature Tomorrowland offers a lighter perspective on the future of the human race. "When you turn on the TV, it's depressing and it hurts your heart. The world feels hopeless right **w,” he told USA Today. “Everyone is so interested in post-apocalypse and dystopia and those worlds and what it means after the world has ended. But what if it's something great?" The title Tomorrowland shares its name with a popular section of Disney World’s Magic Kingdom theme park in Orlando, Florida, which includes famous rides like Space Mountain and a shooting game modelled after Toy Story character Buzz Lightyear. Tomorrowland the movie centres on a brilliant teen who teams up with an inventor in a mission to unearth a secret realm that exists within collective memory. And George is deeply moved the the picture’s enlightened concept. "The truth is, the future is **t inevitable, and that's what I loved about the film," he smiled. However, George is very conscious of how his stature in Hollywood might alter **w that he’s getting older. Despite possible ageism being waged against him, the thespian is looking forward to his future career. "I've never been a cynic. I'm a realist,” George said. "I look at when I was 30, I was in films where I got to win all the fights and be the hero. I'm very realistic at 54 that I'm going to get punched in the face and fall down and whine."
