IS executes Iraqi journalist accused of apostasy

Mosul (Iraq), May 20 (IANS/EFE) The Islamic State (IS) terrorist outfit executed Iraqi journalist Feras Yasin on charges of apostasy and showing ** remorse, according to the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate. The execution took place on Tuesday night in central Mosul, **rthern Iraq, and the IS delivered the body to the relatives of the victim at a forensic institute on Wednesday morning, according to Sufian al-Mashhadani, a member of the syndicate. As the IS deemed the executed journalist an apostate, the jihadi group prohibited the family from holding funeral services for the victim.
