Soap fans are absolutely thrilled to hear that Rebecca Budig is on her way back to daytime television. She is best k**wn for her portrayal of Greenlee Smythe on 'All My Children' from 1999 to 2011, and it was a role that gave the actress two Daytime Emmy **minations. In the years since last appearing on soaps, Budig has been seen as a syndicated talk show host on 'The Better Show' and just gave birth to her first child, Charlotte Jo Benson, last fall. Budig is joining 'General Hospital' to play a new character, who head writer Ron Carlivati described as "a real spitfire."
