Courtney B. Vance has just signed on the dotted line to portray Johnnie Cochran in "American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson." Ryan Murphy an**unced last year that "ACS" will mirror his mega-successful "American Horror Story" in that it will focus on telling one complete story per season. Since the O.J. Simpson trial is still often referred to as the "trial of the century," there is probably ** better starting place for Murphy than with this case. Casting Vance may be one of the most brilliant moves that the popular director/producer has ever made.
