Mark Kozelek (Sun Kil Moon) and Ben Gibbard (Death Cab for Cutie) exchanged emails for The Thread near the end of 2014. The two were back at it again this week, and Kozelek recounted a story about Modest Mouse and the time before he had ever heard of them.
