Malayalam writer Rubeena Nivas inaugurated the event and praised Sadaya for its continuous efforts to alleviate the suffering of poor people in Kerala. "Sadaya's activities are highly appreciable model for others to emulate, especially with regard to the women in Jeddah and how to effectively utilize their free time for their personality and capacity development, and for the wellbeing of others," said Nivas. Nivas handed over the amount to Rashid Ali.
