Will Ferrell (http://www.popsugar.com/Will-Ferrell) hit a cheerleader in the head with a basketball during halftime at a New Orleans Pelicans game on Wednesday - and yes, it was for a movie, but it still had to hurt. The comedian grabbed the ball, made a huge windup, and ended up beaning a Pelicans cheerleader right in the face. She hit the court hard, and Will was escorted out of the Smoothie King Center by waiting security guards. Luckily, Will was filming a scene for the upcoming movie Daddy's Home, and judging by the fan videos taken during the event, he was acting as a drunk guy hoping to impress his stepchildren with an amazing half-court shot.
Will stars in the upcoming comedy as a man determined to become the best stepdad possible to the kids of his new wife, played by Linda Cardellini. Mark Wahlberg (http://www.popsugar.com/Mark-Wahlberg) plays the children's fun, freewheeling biological father.
