سبق وأن قدمت شركة*Seagate أقراص صلبه هجينيه بمقاس 2.5 أنش للحاسبات المحموله تلك الأقراص الصلبه المزوده بـ HDD و SSD بنفس الوقت والآن الشركه تعلن*Desktop SSHD بمقاس 3.5 أنش للحاسبات المكتبيه *بسعة 2 تيرابايت مع 8 جيجابايت للذاكره الفلاشيه وتقول شركة الأم أنها أسرع بأربع مرات مقارنة بالأقراص الصلبه المخصصه للحاسبات المكتبيه *وفي نفس الوقت الشركه ستقوم بشحن*Laptop SSHD للحاسبات المحموله *بسعة واحد تيرابايت وآخر*Laptop Thin SSHD بسماكة 7 ملم بسعة 500 جيجابايت *أسرع بنسبة 40 بالمئه من النسخه السابقه .[Seagate (http://seagate.com/www/sshd/)]
