Arielle Kebbel<\/strong><\/a> looks stunning in her spread for Da Man<\/em><\/strong> magazine\u2019s February\/March issue, available now. <\/p>\n Here\u2019s what the 32-year-old Fifty Shades Freed<\/em> actress had to share with the mag:<\/p>\n On preparing for her role in Fifty Shades Freed<\/em><\/strong>: \u201cAt first, I wasn\u2019t sure how to approach the process of stepping into Gia\u2019s shoes \u2014 which were, in this case, extremely high heels. It was a challenge because she\u2019s the type of villain that, sadly, women everywhere are all too familiar with and one that we face in our everyday lives. But in Gia\u2019s head, she\u2019s not a villain. So, instead of focusing on \u2018Miss Provocative,\u2019 I turned my attention to \u2018UnfortunatelyGood-At-Her-Job.\u2019 Because that\u2019s who Gia is. She\u2019s someone who is so talented and driven that despite her provocative nature, Ana and Christian, people who won\u2019t settle for anything but the best, still hire her to build their home.\u201d <\/p>\n On why she took the role<\/strong>: \u201cIt\u2019s always a challenge to play the antagonist\u2026and I love a good challenge! When I researched Gia and who she is in the books, I first thought, \u2018woah.\u2019 Then, I asked myself: \u2018Ok. How can I justify who this woman is? How can I make Gia\u2019s actions acceptable in her world?\u2019 And from there, I began adding ingredients to make my very own Gia Matteo recipe.\u201d<\/p>\n On her dream role<\/strong>: \u201cA \u2018rom-actcom\u2019 that I write, produce, direct and star in.
