The daily incidents in Delhi Metro never end. Sometimes there is a fight between the passengers and sometimes someone acts strangely. Videos of these incidents remain viral on social media. Every few days some new incident comes to light, which becomes a topic of discussion. Recently, another video went viral online, in which a heated argument between a girl and an elderly woman over a seat in the subway is seen. A carriage full of passengers is clearly visible in the video. A girl tries to find a seat in the crowd. She asks a small child sitting there to stand up so she can sit. However, the child’s grandmother sitting next to him does not like it at all. The elderly woman immediately stops the girl and asks the child to get off the seat. An argument breaks out between the two. Why was there an argument in the coach? Feminist girl wanted the boy to stand up and give her his seat. The girl repeatedly asserts her rights and tries to convince the woman that she should get the seat instead of the child, because the child will have no problem if she stands for some time. However, the elderly woman remains firm on her point. He says the child is small and needs rest, so he won’t leave his seat. Despite repeated requests from the girl, the woman is not ready to move. Gradually the argument escalates and both start shouting at each other. The girl insists that the elderly woman should at least understand that a subway seat is for everyone and not the inheritance of any one person. The woman replies that she does not need to preach to others. It is his own decision whether he will sit his grandson or not. The whole coach sees this fight. The passengers sitting nearby silently watch this spectacle. No one tries to intervene, instead many people take out their cell phones and start making videos.
