Of these, 22 lakh 13 thousand 628 people receive old-age pension, while 8 lakh 93 thousand 276 women receive widow’s pension. In the state, 2 lakh 45 thousand 272 special category children and 2 lakh 11 thousand 744 disabled persons are receiving social security pension. It is also true that Haryana is the state which gives the highest social security pension in the entire country. The government’s plan is a mess on the ground. The BJP government has adopted the process of increasing social security pension under an inflation index linked system. The irony is that officials are making mistakes in implementing the welfare schemes of the BJP government. The common people have to bear the burden of this and the government gets the burden of it. Beneficiaries expressed disappointment. Old age pensioner Suresh Kumar Sharma said that the government gave a Diwali gift by increasing the pension by Rs 200 but the authorities kept this gift to themselves.
