Now effective action can also be taken against terrorism and organized criminals in the districts within a short time. For this, there is a plan to expand two important units of Bihar Police at district and district level. There are preparations to deploy Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) units at the range level while Special Task Force (STF) units are being deployed at the district level. The unit will be led by an DSP rank officer at track level. Along with them, firing squad, bomb and dog squad etc will also be deployed at track level. STF will arrest criminals at district level. With the deployment of STF team at the district level, action against organized criminals will become more effective. At present, STF teams from the headquarters level go to different districts and arrest criminals. A separate unit at the district level will speed up action against organized and most wanted criminals. For this there is also a plan to train policemen and deploy them in STF. Separate special unit for cyber and narcotics: Soon, two separate units of the cyber and anti-narcotics bureau will start working in the state to act against cyber crime and narcotics cases. After the approval of the state government, the exercise to establish these two units was started. The new unit will have the posts of SP Operations, SP Security and SP Training.
