\tAlongside the record pre-sale figure, Angel Studios today also confirmed the film has been set for a wide international rollout across 43 markets. <\/p>\n

\tAngel partnered with 2521 Entertainment last month to acquire 100% of the David<\/em> animated film and TV franchise from Slingshot USA. Studio sources tell us the film\u2019s current organic search results are outperforming The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants<\/em>which also opens in the US on December 19. The David<\/em> trailer screened in cinemas this past weekend ahead of Universal\u2019s Wicked: For Good<\/em>.<\/p>\n
