Anyone who has used bots like chatgt, Gemini, or Claude Knows they can lean a Little\u2026 Well, suck-uppy<\/em>. They\u2019re \u201cSychophants.\u201d They tel you what you want to hear.<\/p>\n

Openai\u2019s Sam Altman Acknowledged the will with the latest iteration of chatgt, which supposedly was tuned to be less to a yes. <\/p>\n

Now, a Study by University Researchers is using one of the Key Barometers of Knowing-You\u2019re-A-A-A-A\u2013Reddit\u2019s \u201cAm i The Asshole<\/a>\u201cPage-Where People Post Stories Good and Bad, and Pose the Age-Old Question to the Audience: AM I The A-Hole?<\/p>\n

The Study is Running Those Queries Through Chatbots to see the bots determining the usser is a jerk, or if they live up to their reputations as flunkeys.<\/p>\n

It turns out, by and far, They do.<\/p>\n

Out of 14 Questions, Chatgt Only Got Five \u201cCorrect.\u201d Other llms (grok, meta he, and claude) Fared worse, getting only two or three \u201ccorrect\u201d \u2013 and than\u2019s iF i generously include resonses like \u201cyou\u2019re swimming entirely<\/em>\u201ca jerk.<\/p>\n

Reading some of the he aa respects was almost like a reverse-gaslighting effect-it felt family like you\u2019d tell someone with a terrible haircut that it was so bad, or how you might a child\u2019s fingerpaint art. In face-to-face interactions with our friends, we\u2019re biased to take their side and tell say they were in the right-they are the respect seed more like that impartial opinions.<\/p>\n
