The Pride Concert was written and hosted by Justin Elizabeth Sayre and the Ali Forrey Center.<\/p>\n

The 12th annual Night of a Thousand Judys <\/em>Concert will be presented on June 3 at 7pm in Joe’s Pub, the intimate cabaret in Off-Broadway’s public theater.<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n

The annual Pride Concert, written and presented by Justin Elizabeth Sayre, will benefit the Ali Forrey Center, the largest agency of the country, to help LGBTQ -HA WOWAWELless youth. <\/p>\n

Night of a Thousand Judys <\/em>Will honor the late entertainment icon Judy Garland<\/a> With songs from her career as a movie star, recording artist and stage artist. Peter James Cook will direct the evening by Choreography by Jason Wise and Music Direction by Drew Wutke. <\/p>\n

Guest artists are later announced.<\/p>\n

“After doing this show for 12 years, I thought of June as Judy’s month,” Sayre said in a statement. “It’s such an exciting time to put together this show – to work out the songs and the singers. In addition, it is just exciting to work with the Ali Forrey Center again. To take a moment, before the flood of Pride month overwhelms us with rainbows and slogans, and to focus on the reason for the season. To sort what our community means, what we rise. To stand up for Judy Garland.<\/p>\n

The Ali Forrey Center serves over 2200 LGBTQ+ young people through the 24\/7 walk-in center, Ali’s Place and a network of 13 emergency and transitional housing sites. The center also supports organizations to utilize its expertise to repeat its model of success around the world.<\/p>\n

Night of a Thousand Judys <\/em>is produced by And fortune<\/a> and Adam J. Rosen, with Fortune serving as executive producer.<\/p>\n
