Syrian artist, Slav Fawakherji, was keen to pay tribute to the late Syrian artist and director Marwan Qanoua, who passed away from our world on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Slav Fawakherji, in a post on her personal page on the Instagram website, said: \u201cMercy is due to the soul of the actor and director Marwan Qanoua, all the condolences to our dear colleague Mohamed Qanoua and to all the family members and all his companions and loved ones.\u201d<\/p>\n
It is noteworthy that the director Marwan Qanoua is a founding member of the Syndicate of Artists in Syria, and a founding member of the Dabas Theater Company, founded by the brothers Qanoua.<\/p>\n
He was born in Damascus in 1946, and began working in the theater in 1958 in the play \u201cThe Cry of Damascus\u201d in the Arab Ensemble for Acting and Singing with the late artist Sabri Ayyad. He also worked in the Free Theater Ensemble for the war effort 1969, including several \u201cAl-Kul\u201d and \u201cLuff and Duran\u201d.<\/p>\n
He worked in the group of avant-garde theater with the late writer Ahmed Qeblaoui and the director, artist Talat Hamdi, in works such as \u201cA Night That Does Not Compensate\u201d, \u201cThe First Fawak Al-Sham Ya Phantom\u201d, \u201cTora and No Inscription\u201d.<\/p>\n
He moved to work at the Dabasat Theater in 1974 with many great artists, including Hashem Qanoua, Ahmed Qanoua, Omar Qanoua, Rafeeq Sbei'i, Fahd Kaekati Abu Fahmy, Anwar Pope Umm Kamel, Melia Fouad, Youssef Choueiri, and he continued in this group, participating in several plays that reached number There are 55 plays, including \u201cAl Ezz for Rice\u201d, \u201cBetween Hanna and Mana\u201d, and \u201cAl Manafikh\u201d.<\/p>\n
