27 Feb<\/strong> \u2013 Matteo Guidicelli finally broke his silence about his marriage to girlfriend and pop princess Sarah Geronimo, nearly a week since the secret wedding.<\/p>\n On 26 February, the singer shared the first photo of him and Geronimo as husband and wife, and wrote, “02 20 2020, A day full of pure love, honesty and genuine emotions. Yes, we got married. Mr and Mrs. Guidicelli.”<\/p>\n “First and foremost, we would like to express the overwhelming joy, love and excitement we have in beginning our life together. We decided to keep everything as intimate as possible because of private matters. Each and everyone of you have been part of our love journey and we want to say, Thank you. Friends, family and everyone on “social media” have been a source of inspiration, strength, and most importantly, of LOVE,” he continued.<\/p>\n Guidicelli admitted that the evening was almost perfect until “some unexpected events” took place, but assured that he never punched anyone – referring to the allegation made by Geronimo’s family bodyguard, Jerry Tamara that he did.<\/p>\n “I will forever stand up and protect my wife just as how my father would protect my whole family,” he added.<\/p>\n He also thanked the Guidicelli family for loving his wife like their own daughter, stating that they are blessed to add another member.<\/p>\n “In time, with God’s grace and Love, everything will heal and fall into place.
