In the first promo for John Mulaney\u2019s third time hosting on \u201cSaturday Night Live.,\u201d he tells his buddy Pete Davidson to \u201cbe sure to act real stupid\u201d when he is about to go outside to deal with the paparazzi.<\/p>\n
The promo comes just two days after Davidson complained of constantly being \u201cpainted out to be this big dumb idiot.\u201d The video sees Mulaney find his friend reformed \u2014 he even has his own guru and has swapped out his pet monkey for a writing corner. Davidson then admits he still has to keep his old appearances of being a dumb goofball, telling Mulaney: \u201cYou got to give the people what they want.\u201d<\/p>\n

You\u2019re just like, \u2018Every day I\u2019m getting fired.\u2019 So it\u2019s just everybody is trying to pound their work on there.
