19 Feb<\/strong> \u2013 Calvin Poon recently stated that he has never thought about winning awards when he decided to venture into filmmaking.<\/p>\n As reported on Mingpao, the lyricist-turned-filmmaker who spoke about Sammi Cheng and Charlene Choi being nominated at the Hong Kong Film Awards for his movie, “Fatal Visit”, stated that whenever he makes a film he only hopes for the investors to get the return of their investment and for the cast and crew to be recognised for their work.<\/p>\n “I would gladly accept it if I were to win one, but winning an award has never been a goal. The most important thing is to have the audiences be inspired by my work and loving it,” he said.<\/p>\n Calvin also hopes that he will be able to make more movies in the future.<\/p>\n “If this film does well at the box office and the investors make their money, maybe I will get the chance to make another film.
