17 Feb<\/strong> \u2013 Former actress Mary Jean Reimer recently expressed her frustration over the issue concerning the availability of medical-grade face masks in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n As reported on Mingpao, the former actress who recently returned to Hong Kong to donate a batch of face masks to the Hong Kong Veterans Federation, stated that she can’t understand what the government is doing letting the masks become a scarce valuable commodity.<\/p>\n Speaking about her own purchase, Mary said that she ordered the masks two weeks in advance, and faced no issue concerning scarcity.<\/p>\n Asked if she has shared knowledge of the purchase with Chief Executive Carrie Lam, Mary said, “I have already told a friend who has contact with government officials, but I haven’t shared any details yet.”<\/p>\n The actress also revealed that she has donated masks to clinics, after finding out that the community clinics also lack all the supplies needed.<\/p>\n (Photo Source: Mingpao)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
