The Road to WrestleMania\u2122 has a particularly dangerous stop for WWE Superstars: the \u201cElimination Chamber\u201d pay-per-view. TheWrap can exclusively unveil the competitors in the women\u2019s Elimination Chamber Match.<\/p>\n
Shayna Baszler, Asuka, Ruby Riott, Natalya, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan will square off next month in the titular match at \u201cWWE Elimination Chamber,\u201d we\u2019ve learned.\u00a0Not only does that sound like a badass match, the stakes inside the perilous cage will be as high as they get: The winner faces Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 36 for her Raw Women\u2019s Champion title.<\/p>\n
The official announcement of the Chamber Match participants will take place tonight on \u201cRaw.\u201d<\/p>\n

She\u2019s no longer the scrappy challenger on a date with destiny: Lynch is officially the longest-running Raw Women\u2019s Champion in WWE history.<\/p>\n \u201cI think that this is where the challenge starts,\u201d she told TheWrap. \u201cBecause there\u2019s the fun part \u2014 but now you\u2019ve got to prove that you can do it time and time again and that you\u2019ve got longevity and that you\u2019ve got staying power and that\u2019s why you\u2019re the greatest of all time, which I am and prove every single week.\u201d<\/p>\n The crown is Lynch\u2019s to lose this time. Will she?<\/p>\n \u201cHell no!\u201d she promised. \u201cI\u2019d been waiting on that throne way too long. Way too long. I did it for what three, four years? Didn\u2019t get recognized, didn\u2019t get credit for what I did \u2014 for the work that I put in, the effort that I put in\u2026 and now I have it, I\u2019m not letting go.\u201d<\/p>\n Also Read:<\/strong> WWE’s Becky Lynch Explains Why I Like Sheamus So Much<\/p>\n If it\u2019s Baszler coming for scepter, Lynch is ready to bite back \u2014 in any violent format WWE could come up with.<\/p>\n \u201cI would love a Street Fight, No Holds Barred, whatever it is. I\u2019ve been in all those matches, I don\u2019t think she has,\u201d Lynch told TheWrap. \u201cI have the experience in all of those matches. I\u2019ve won the Last Woman Standing match\u2026the Match of the Year.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t see a reason that this [result] would be any different,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n The \u201cElimination Chamber\u201d pay-per-view is scheduled for March 8. WrestleMania 36 takes place April 5 in Tampa, Fla.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s how an Elimination Chamber Match works: Two competitors start in the ring, which is contained in a giant, roofed cage. Four other competitors are locked in individual clear pods in each corner. At regular time intervals, a pod opens by \u201crandom\u201d (it\u2019s not random, this is sports entertainment) selection, introducing a new competitor into the mounting chaos. Wrestlers eliminate each other one at a time until only the winner is left (barely) standing.<\/p>\n Catch Lynch and some of her potential \u2018Mania opponents tonight on USA Network\u2019s \u201cMonday Night Raw,\u201d which starts at 8\/7c and runs for three hours. Baszler is still technically on the \u201cNXT\u201d roster; she mainly wrestles Wednesday nights on USA.
