Margot Robbie has sympathised with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex over their decision to step back as senior royals, and offered the couple an invite to her LA home. <\/p>\n

The 29-year-old Bombshell<\/em> star, who met Prince Harry four years ago, said that starting a new life far away from home is “isn’t something taken lightly”, but she could fully relate to the situation. <\/p>\n

“I have known Prince Harry for a while and he is a really great guy,” the star told The Sun<\/em>. “I know as much as anybody what a big decision it is to move halfway across the world. I still miss London a lot but I had my reasons for moving and they have their reasons for the decision. <\/p>\n

“It isn’t something taken lightly. If they are going to spend more time in LA, we would love to have dinner with them.”<\/p>\n

Robbie left her native Australia to move to London, where she met now-husband film producer Tom Ackerley. <\/p>\n

The couple have since relocated to LA for work. They run their own production company LuckyChap entertainment. <\/p>\n

Back in 2015, Robbie met 35-year-old Prince Harry at a London housewarming party thrown by model Suki Waterhouse. <\/p>\n

“When I saw him in those glasses I was like, ‘Oh my God, I didn’t know Ed Sheeran was at the party’. And he was really offended. He was like, ‘Shut up!'” the I, Tonya<\/em> actress said at the time. <\/p>\n

She also admitted to prank-calling Harry with Cara Delevingne – a long-time friend of the royal – on the set of their film Suicide Squad<\/em>. <\/p>\n

“While we were filming Cara said, ‘Let’s prank-call Harry’. I was like, ‘You can’t prank-call royalty’ but we did, and he was so cool with it,” she disclosed.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Robbie was recently nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her performance in Bombshell<\/em>, <\/em>and was up for two acting Baftas in the same category for Bombshell<\/em> and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n
