Lynn Cohen, the veteran Broadway actress also known to millions for her role as Magda on the HBO series \u201cSex and the City\u201d and its subsequent movies, died Friday, her representative told TheWrap. She was 86.<\/p>\n
Born in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1933, Cohen had a wide-ranging career with dozens of credits in film and television and the stage. Among her most well known roles, she portrayed Golda Meir in Steven Spielberg\u2019s \u201cMunich,\u201d Mags in \u201cThe Hunger Games: Catching Fire,\u201d and also appeared in the films \u201cAcross the Universe,\u201d \u201cEagle Eye,\u201d the 2014 comedy \u201cThey Came Together,\u201d and Charlie Kauffman\u2019s \u201cSynecdoche, New York,\u201d among many others.<\/p>\n
Her numerous television credits include appearances on \u201cThe Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,\u201d \u201cNurse Jackie,\u201d \u201cGod Friended Me,\u201d \u201cMaster of None,\u201d Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,\u201d \u201cThe Affair\u201d and \u201cChicago Med.\u201d<\/p>\n
