This design intends to replicate the movements of human fingers.<\/p>\n<p>Sensors attached to the fingertips, palm and fingers detect contact with objects. When the hand touches the object, the sensors measure the grasping force that\u2019s required to handle it.<\/p>\n<p><em>[Read:\u00a0Elon Musk\u2019s new song is as bad as his dance moves]<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The hand can be mounted on a variety of robotic arms.
