That\u2019s a notable 2.55 percent decline in 24 hours, or -$258.94. It was the lowest closing price in two days.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re still 50 percent below Bitcoin\u2018s all-time high of $20,089 (December 17 2017).<\/p>\n<h2>Bitcoin market cap<\/h2>\n<p>Bitcoin\u2019s market cap ended the day at $179,494,809,266. It now commands 64 percent of the total crypto market.<\/p>\n<h2>Bitcoin volume<\/h2>\n<p>Yesterday\u2019s volume of $39,386,548,075 was the highest in twenty-five days, 119 percent above last year\u2019s average, and 12 percent below last year\u2019s high.\u00a0<span>That means that yesterday, the Bitcoin network shifted the equivalent of 781 tons of gold.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Bitcoin transactions<\/h2>\n<p>A total of 297,982 transactions were conducted yesterday, which is 8 percent below last year\u2019s average and 34 percent below last year\u2019s high.<\/p>\n<h2>Bitcoin transaction fee<\/h2>\n<p>Yesterday\u2019s average transaction fee concerned $0.42. That\u2019s $3.29 below last year\u2019s high of $3.71.<\/p>\n<h2>Bitcoin distribution by address<\/h2>\n<p>As of now, there are 13,837 Bitcoin millionaires, or addresses containing more than $1 million worth of Bitcoin.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the top 10 Bitcoin addresses house 5.9 percent of the total supply, the top 100 15.0 percent, and the top 1000 34.7 percent.<\/p>\n<h2>Company with a market cap closest to Bitcoin<\/h2>\n<p>With a market capitalization of $180 Billion, Adobe has a market capitalization most similar to that of Bitcoin at the moment.<\/p>\n<h2>Bitcoin\u2019s path towards $1 million<\/h2>\n<p>On November 29 2017 notorious Bitcoin evangelist John McAfee <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/officialmcafee\/status\/935900326007328768\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">predicted<\/a> that Bitcoin would reach a price of $1 million by the end of 2020.<\/p>\n<p>He even promised to eat his own dick if it doesn\u2019t. Unfortunately for him it\u2019s 95.2 percent behind being on track. Bitcoin\u2018s price should have been $208,146 by now, according to dickline.info.<\/p>\n<h2>Bitcoin on Twitter<\/h2>\n<p>Yesterday 27,170 fresh tweets about Bitcoin were sent out into the world. That\u2019s 48.4 percent above last year\u2019s average.
