NBC Entertainment has promoted Masami Yamamoto to head of business operations.<\/p>\n
Yamamoto will be in charge of negotiations for both scripted and unscripted programming, including all deals for the network, Universal Television Alternative Studio and first-run syndication. She will report to NBC Entertainment Chairman Paul Telegdy.<\/p>\n

Her responsibilities included everything from overall and first-look deals, to other talent deals and digital and licensing agreements for NBC and Universal Television.<\/p>\n Yamamoto began her career at NBC in 2000 in Legal Affairs, working on programming produced and acquired by NBC before moving to Business Affairs in 2001. She added scripted programming for studio businesses through Universal Television in 2016. Before NBC, she was an attorney at the law firm O\u2019Melveny & Myers.
