\u201cPower\u201d may have come to an end this weekend after six season, but like the hashtag said on the teaser that accompanied the series finale, #PowerNeverEnds, and so it is that Starz has released the full main cast for the show\u2019s first spinoff, \u201cPower Book II: Ghost.\u201d<\/p>\n
Newcomers to the \u201cPower\u201d universe include Daniel Bellomy (\u201cThe Real MVP: The Wanda Durrant Story\u201d) as \u201cEzekiel \u2018Zeke\u2019 Cross\u201d; Paige Hurd (\u201cThe Oval,\u201d \u201cHawaii Five-O\u201d) as \u201cLauren,\u201d Melanie Liburd (\u201cThis is Us,\u201d \u201cGypsy\u201d) as \u201cCaridad \u2018Carrie\u2019 Milgram,\u201d Justin McManus (\u201cStar\u201d) as \u201cJabari Reynolds,\u201d Woody McClain (\u201cThe Bobby Brown Story,\u201d \u201cThe New Edition Story\u201d) as \u201cCane Tejada,\u201d Lovell Adams-Gray (\u201cCoroner,\u201d \u201cSlasher\u201d) as \u201cDru Tejada,\u201d and LaToya Tonedeo (\u201cThe Oath\u201d) as \u201cDiana Tejada.\u201d<\/p>\n
They join fellow \u201cPower\u201d newcomers Mary J. Blige and Cliff \u201cMethod Man\u201d Smith, and returning \u201cPower\u201d mainstays Michael Rainey Jr. as Tariq St. Patrick, Shane Johnson as Cooper Saxe, and Naturi Naughton as Tasha St. Patrick. Other returning \u201cPower\u201d cast are Gianni Paolo (\u201cMa,\u201d \u201cThe Fosters\u201d) as Brayden, Tariq\u2019s roommate, and Quincy Tyler Bernstine (\u201cRay Donovan,\u201d \u201cModern Love\u201d) as defense attorney \u201cTameika Washington.\u201d<\/p>\n

The sequel follows Tariq as he navigates his new life in college, as his hopes of shedding his father\u2019s duplicitous legacy come up against mounting pressure to save his family.<\/p>\n Series creator Courtney A. Kemp will return as showrunner with Curtis \u201c50 Cent\u201d Jackson once again serving as executive producer. Lionsgate TV produces the show for Starz.<\/p>\n Luckily for fans of \u201cPower,\u201d \u201cPower Book II: Ghost\u201d is only the first sequel to the hit show. It will be followed by one prequel and two spinoffs focused on other iconic characters including Kanan (Jackson), Councilman Tate (Larenz Tate) and Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora).
