6 Feb<\/strong> \u2013 Sharon Cuneta recently lashed out against netizens who accused her of being a toxic mother to daughter KC Concepcion.<\/p>\n As reported on Inquirer, the actress responded to comments regarding her recent posts, in which she sang praises for actress Angel Locsin for being “kind and warm” amid speculations of a rift with daughter KC Concepcion.<\/p>\n To one netizen who accused of being a bad mother for letting her own mother take care of Concepcion when she was young, Cuneta stated that she was busy working to put food on the table following her divorce with Gabby Concepcion.<\/p>\n “My Mom and Dad helped raise her because I had to work. Just like overseas Filipino workers who have to leave their children to work even if they do not want to,” she wrote.<\/p>\n She also stressed that she didn’t depend on her parents on other matters except to take care of her daughter while she was busy making ends meet for the sake of Concepcion’s future.<\/p>\n She also slammed the netizen for accusing her of trying to win Angel Locsin’s favour, seeing that she has been in the industry for more than 40 years.<\/p>\n “I am retiring soon. I never, even when I was just starting, have to do that. Now? And I have several awards in each medium. You can’t stand me but you can’t leave me alone when you have no idea what’s going on,” she added.<\/p>\n The actress stressed that others do not understand what is going on between her and her daughter, and thus should not speculate and point fingers towards anybody.<\/p>\n The strain in the relationship between mother and daughter were felt back in January, when Cuneta questioned why Concepcion missed her televised birthday celebration on “ASAP Natin’ To” and only wished her on social media – adding that the actress had also been MIA on several family occasions.<\/p>\n (Photo Source: KC Concepcion Instagram)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
