Daniel Kaluuya has revealed how a disastrous first date inspired the frosty Tinder meet-up that begins crime drama Queen & Slim<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The film starts with Kaluuya\u2019s character, Slim, on an awkward date with Jodie Turner-Smith\u2019s Queen \u2014 and the actor has admitted it\u2019s nothing compared to his own worst romantic encounter.<\/p>\n

\u201cI may have got slapped on a date, a couple of times,\u201d Kaluuya told Yahoo Movies UK, adding: \u201cIt wasn\u2019t like she was angry with me. She was angry at herself\u201d.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cShe would, like, kiss me then slap me, kiss me then slap me, kiss me then slap me. It was kinda wild. It was in an Uber, to Barking.<\/p>\n

\u201cLeave it there, we\u2019ve got to keep it ambiguous.\u201d<\/p>\n

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Kaluuya said there wasn\u2019t a second date.<\/p>\n
