Aspen Insurance Holdings has appointed Andrew Kudera as executive vice-president and group chief actuary, effective February 03, 2020.<\/p>\n

Kudera has 40 years of actuarial experience in the re\/insurance industry. He was most recently serving as executive vice-president and group chief actuary at Validus Group, from 2010 to 2019. Prior to that, he previously managed his own consulting company, Kudera Consulting, and has also held a number of senior level roles for Fireman\u2019s Fund, Endurance, and KPMG.<\/p>\n

A company release noted that with Kudera\u2019s appointment, previous group actuary Paul Frydas will assume the new role of chief analytics officer. In his new role, Frydas will lead strategic pricing, aggregation management and modelling. Although he takes new responsibilities, Frydas will still serve as chief actuary for Aspen Insurance UK, Aspen Management Agency, and Aspen Bermuda.<\/p>\n

\u201cWelcoming industry leading experts of Andy\u2019s quality to our team increases our capabilities, allowing us to transform our business, simplify and enhance our operations, and increase accountability across these functions,\u201d said Aspen Insurance Holdings executive chairman and group CEO Mark Cloutier.<\/p>\n

Cloutier also commented that Kudera\u2019s capabilities and perspective, together with Frydas\u2019s expertise and experience, \u201cwill create a strong partnership across complimentary disciplines.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
