13 Jan<\/strong> \u2013 Award-winning thespian Kara Hui still cannot believe that she has won Best Actress at the recently held TVB Anniversary Awards.<\/p>\n As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who won the accolade for her role in the TVB-Tencent co-production “The Defected”, shared that she still thinks that it was a dream as she never thought of winning the said category.<\/p>\n “I had wanted the series to win Best Drama. I didn’t expect to win this instead,” she said, admitting that she was a little sad that the series lost to “Big White Duel” in the category.<\/p>\n “Since the drama did not win, I hope that “The Glass Menagerie” will win a prize in the future,” she added, referring to her stage production of the Tennessee Williams’ play.<\/p>\n Asked if she was telling the truth in her speech – that she would return to film more dramas, Kara said that she is an iron lady who has no qualms working day in and day out.<\/p>\n “The Defected” was Kara Hui’s first TVB drama in nearly a decade since “No Regrets”.<\/p>\n (Photo Source: Mingpao)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
