13 Jan<\/strong> \u2013 Although the two of them are no longer together romantically, Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia recently assured that the two of them are still good friends.<\/p>\n As reported on Push, Barretto, who has started promoting new movie, “Block Z” with Garcia recently, stated that she is grateful for the actor’s friendship more than anything.<\/p>\n “That’s one of the things that I am super grateful for, that we were able to protect and make sure that the friendship will remain. When I saw him, it felt familiar. It’s a familiar place, comfortable and safe,” she stated.<\/p>\n It is noted that the two confirmed that they were no longer romantically involved with each other while filming the said movie. It was soon after that Barretto was dragged into the breakup scandal between Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo.<\/p>\n Barretto also stated that she was very excited about doing the movie with Garcia, since it was different than their previous films that are mostly romantic comedies.<\/p>\n “It’s a challenge to us. Of course, there is a love angle as well, so the challenge was how to handle it from different depths and angles. It’s edgier, more sacrificial,” she said.<\/p>\n As for Garcia, the actor admitted that he really missed seeing Barretto.<\/p>\n “I personally miss Julia, because we are not always together.
