She\u2019s the controversial member of the Markle family who has taken every opportunity to call out her half-sister in public, and now Samantha Markle has blasted the Duchess of Sussex again.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The 53-year-old launched a scathing attack on Meghan following the Sussexes\u2019 announcement that they\u2019re quitting their roles as senior royals, with Samantha claiming Meghan \u201cknew very clearly what she was getting herself into\u201d.<\/p>\n\nSamantha Markle has called out Meghan Markle for not doing more to heal the rift with both the royal family and her own clan. \u201cI see a divisiveness, I see selfishness and I thought: \u2018Why isn\u2019t she working harder to bridge the gap with our family and with the royals?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
Meghan Markle and her half-sister Samantha haven\u2019t spoken for the past ten years.<\/p>\n
Samantha has publicly called her a \u201cself-obsessed\u201d social climber and is said to be in the process of writing a book titled In the Shadows of the Duchess<\/em> \u2013 a follow-up to her previous memoir, The Diary of Princess Pushy<\/em>.<\/p>\nMeghan also fell out with her father, Thomas Markle, after he was caught setting up paparazzi photos just before the Sussexes May 19th wedding in 2018.<\/p>\n
Since then, Thomas has appeared on numerous TV shows begging the Duchess to let him back into her life.\u00a0<\/p>\n
However, it\u2019s thought Meghan was deeply hurt when her father released private letters she sent him back in August 2018.<\/p>\n
In the letters, Meghan begged her father to stop \u2018victimising\u2019 her in public.<\/p>\n

In the letter, the Duchess spoke about her heartbreak at her dad and half-sister, Samantha Markle, exploiting her relationship for their personal gain.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn a daily basis you fixated and clicked on the lies they were writing about me, especially those manufactured by your other daughter, who I barely know,\u201d Meghan wrote in the letter, which was seen by the Daily Mail.<\/em><\/p>\n\u201cYou watched me silently suffer at the hands of your vicious lies. I crumbled inside.\u201d<\/p>\n
