Last quarter Apple posted Apple posted the highest ever Q4 revenue.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Apple started Q1 2020 with a\u00a0 stock price of US$224.59\/share on October 1 and ended the quarter with their stock hitting US$293.65 on December 31. Today we reported that the entry iPhone 11 being the number one selling smartphone in the US in December with all four carriers.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Our report also noted that the number one iPhone in activations between December 25 through to December 31 was the entry iPhone 11. While that may not guarantee a knock-out quarter, it&#8217;s a positive sign that they&#8217;re likely to hit their guidance as presented below.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">Apple&#8217;s Guidance for its Fiscal 2020 First Quarter:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Apple\u2019s CFO, Luca Maestri, provided the investor community with guidance for Apple&#8217;s Q1 2020 covering October-December back on October 30 as follows:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li>revenue between $85.5 billion and $89.5 billion<\/li>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<li>gross margin between 37.5 percent and 38.5 percent<\/li>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<li>operating expenses between $9.6 billion and $9.8 billion<\/li>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<li>other income\/(expense) of $200 million<\/li>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<li>tax rate of approximately 16.5 percent<\/li>\n<p>&#13;\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The guideline is what financial analysts and shareholders will be looking for when Apple reports and hopefully they&#8217;ll be able to hit the high-end of their revenue guidance.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>On another note, Apple posted a notification stating that advance registration is required for those wanting to attend the 2020 annual Shareholders Meeting.
