I think she is getting a bit worn out as I’m on the go and afraid to leave her alone in the room. I got the world’s best email from my mom today about Tux (see below); it made me feel so good. It is everything a trainer would want to hear if they had to leave a 5 month old! He is happy where he is, he is getting interactive exercise with some criteria (fetch to hand) he is problem solving. I love the bowl part, how many grandmas would have taken the bowl away? Tux got to experiment and problem solve, so good for him. Looks like I have the world’s best puppy granny and a super nice pup!!
Off to explore Oviedo. Team photos at 11:30 then off to the site to set up and practice. Team meeting tonight. Rain is coming, please send all the no rain vibes that you can!

Here is the email from my Mom about Tux!

“All is well; he certainly is a handful. Just now he picked up the water bowl and took it outside and tried to get in the dog door with it. I figured that would take him a while…..pretty soon he came running down the hall with the bowl in his mouth!!!! Can’t leave him alone for a minute; he came in the house with a bunch of mulch, dropped that on the floor. Been playing ball with him twice a day. He is getting pretty good at bringing it back to me..If he won’t bring it to me….I say his name and tap the ground and he runs over with it……puts in my hand sometimes. He is a friendly little dog ; nothing phases him…..sometimes I just shake my head and laugh. Quite a kid you have there.”

Original Article

Nancy Campanile has talked me into blogging a bit.
