{"id":159591,"date":"2019-09-10T13:40:04","date_gmt":"2019-09-10T10:40:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ww-vb.mine.nu\/w108\/superheroes-hang-out-with-kids-at-chinook-regional-hospital-in-lethbridge\/"},"modified":"2019-09-10T13:40:04","modified_gmt":"2019-09-10T10:40:04","slug":"superheroes-hang-out-with-kids-at-chinook-regional-hospital-in-lethbridge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hameed.nwar.uk\/sa\/superheroes-hang-out-with-kids-at-chinook-regional-hospital-in-lethbridge\/","title":{"rendered":"Superheroes hang out with kids at Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Spider-Man, Batman, Captain America and Wonder Woman hung out with children at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge in an effort to brighten their Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Showing off their super skills, they climbed ropes up and down the hospital\u2019s atrium while children, staff and visitors watched from the third-floor glass windows.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cPatients don\u2019t always want to be here, especially the kids,\u201d said Dave Kortt, Alberta Health Services\u2019 director of linen and environmental services for the south zone.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI think the kids  their focus and you could see they were interacting with them quite a bit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t<strong><br \/>READ MORE: \t\t\t<br \/>Patients at Quebec City children\u2019s hospital get special superhero visit\t\t\t<br \/><\/strong>\n\t\t<\/p>\n<p>The superheroes gave the kids high fives and fist bumps, and played rock-paper-scissors through the glass windows while being suspended mid-air.<\/p>\n<p>Although hanging from the ceiling isn\u2019t an easy task, it\u2019s a daily activity for the superheroes visiting the hospital.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTheir day job is actually cleaning the high levels of the atrium,\u201d said Kortt. \u201cThe atrium is quite high and they\u2019re very specialized in that.
