I think most men misunderstand the power of knowing their wives. There\u2019s an issue where sex is primary and communication\/intimacy is secondary. There\u2019s a problem where men don\u2019t know their wives\u2019 favorite hobbies, colors or even flowers. When we don\u2019t know our spouses intimate levels, we tend to weaken our marriage. We tend to not worry about our marriage; thus, arguments, lack of communication and sex begins to occur. Sex is literally the lowest point of intimacy, where communication and knowing your spouse\u2019s thoughts is the highest point of intimacy. Although, sex is very important in marriage; but it must be passionate and biblically based. That can only occur when there\u2019s communication and knowing each other\u2019s hearts within the marriage. Once we understand the levels of intimacy in marriage, we will not only know our wives and husbands, but we will understand our marriage standards and purpose. We will understand the purpose of one another and not compete with each other.
