I will still eat my dick if wrong. pic.twitter.com\/WVx3E71nyD<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 John McAfee (@officialmcafee) November 29, 2017<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Dickening.com<\/em>\u00a0is a website that counts down until McAfee is required to (potentially) consume his own barbecued shlong live on television \u2013 December 31, 2020 (now colloquially referred to as\u00a0The Dickening).<\/em><\/p>\n As it stands, for Bitcoin to reach $1,000,000 (and for\u00a0McAfee\u2018s peen to have any hope of seeing 2021), its\u00a0price<\/a> must rise by more than $1,800 every single day<\/em> between now and\u00a0The Dickening<\/i>.<\/p>\n \u201cConversely, if Bitcoin is worth One Million Dollars [sic] by that day, most of the world is going to feel like dicks for not listening,\u201d reads a message posted underneath the timer.<\/p>\n For reference, Bitcoin is currently worth a little less than $10,000.<\/p>\n McAfee, supposedly in self-imposed exile<\/a> in Cuba, hasn\u2019t forgotten about his bet.<\/p>\n In April, he claimed<\/a> it was \u201cmathematically impossible\u201d for Bitcoin to be worth less than $1,000,000 by the end of 2020, but sadly failed to provide a framework to show his working.<\/p>\n Even last week, a confident McAfee tweeted<\/a>: \u201c[\u2026] I\u2019m still positive about my $1 mil [sic] BTC price by the end of 2020,\u201d albeit before shilling two obscure tokens on his followers (as per his alleged\u00a0modus operandi<\/a>).<\/p>\n McAfee has also previously said he\u2019s \u201cnever lost a bet<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n Sure, it\u2019s unlikely McAfee will be a man and keep his word, but you can track the status of\u00a0The Dickening <\/em>here<\/a>.<\/p>\n At the very least, he has roughly 533 days to prepare an excuse\u00a0\u2014<\/span> you know, just in case.<\/p>\n \n Published July 17, 2019 \u2014 14:32 UTC\n <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n\n
